This piece feels like a series of silent messages from lush, shadowed gardens — moments where light filters softly through leaves and colors seem to breathe with their own rhythm. The first sketches for the work were created while wandering through the gardens of Paris, where I spent time drawing, observing, and capturing fleeting atmospheres: fragile flowers, deep shadows, and the gentle movement of vegetation.
The painting became a memory of those moments — intimate and alive, like a love letter to places where time seemed to slow down.
Created on cotton canvas using acrylic and oil pastel, the surface carries both depth and a delicate, sketch-like softness. Layers of deep green and turquoise form an atmospheric background from which organic floral shapes emerge in pale pink, white, and vivid yellow. Controlled gestures and freer marks create a balance between structure and spontaneity.
At the center of the composition, a dark vertical form creates a calm anchor around which lighter tones settle and expand. The work balances energy and stillness, echoing the feeling of moving quietly through hidden gardens filled with shifting light.
The edges are painted, and the artwork is intended to be displayed unframed. Ready to hang with hanging wire attached on the back. The surface has been treated with oil pastel fixative and protective varnish to preserve the richness and durability of the work.
